"The Official Voice of the Voiceless"
(Effective Assistance When You Need It!)

Miami, FL – The American Veterans Alliance under the direction of its National Executive Director, Waddell McGee (US Army Ret.) is a National Veterans Service Organization with the mission of advocating returning veterans; both men and women, veterans from war zones with mental health concerns (including post traumatic stress disorder, PTSD), widows, dependants, homeless, disabled, rural and economically disadvantaged veterans, and the children of homeless veterans.

VISION

Working together in a community effort along with our affiliate members; city, state, federal and community leaders, in an effort to assist veterans navigating through the government system to obtain information, free benefits and services.

Creating a network that will provide a place for returning veterans to get the information needed to assist them in their reintegration into their home communities.

Providing a support network of young veterans who have just returned themselves from Iraq and other war zones; for those active duty service men and women still in foreign countries, who need and deserve to get support from their country and community.

Our concerns are also geared towards widows and dependants of these veterans who gave their lives so gallantly in our defense.

Inaugurating our new national program, Burial With Dignity. By allying ourselves with companies like yours we are able to adopt the men and women that have fallen, and lay them to rest at a low cost in national cemeteries. These veterans will be remembered and there will be a flag placed on the coffin as well as headstone for future generations to see.

ABOUT US - MISSION STATEMENT

The American Veterans Alliance ("AVA") is a South Florida based veteran’s service organization with the mission of advocating for homeless, and economically disadvantaged veterans and their dependents. The founder of AVA has been active in the effort to secure rightful benefits due and owing to veterans, and as a champion for veterans when abused and denied by government agencies acting arbitrarily. AVA has determined, after many years of effort, that the root cause for virtually all difficulties and problems encountered by veterans can be traced to the arbitrary and capricious denial of benefits due and owing to deserving veterans.

AVA has pinpointed this root cause and is prepared to provide effective assistance to confront the errant bureaucrats with the appropriate statutes, regulations and procedures that will destroy bureaucratic arbitrary denials. While the challenge to the bureaucracy is ongoing, AVA addresses other immediate needs of deprived and dispossessed veterans in Southern Florida.
